Merry Christmas!
Well it's finally here again. I'm almost positive that time is speeding itself up on me...
This year was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of work and life. Bought a house, fiance got a job overseas, and I swapped the casual cafe work to do a seasonal stint in a Christmas warehouse. (Which was SO much fun, good riddance to leaving hospitality!) I still kept up with a decent amount of freelancing on the side too.
After Christmas I'll be heading down the QLD coast for a week. I'll have my sketchbook and Copic markers in tow so I'll finally be able to make a start on the third chapter of Rosetta. Creative work tends to come to me easily during my vacations at the Gold Coast. I guess I just adore the atmosphere.
On a sour note, my fiance's rotation has fallen over Christmas which means he'll be spending Christmas, New Years and his birthday sweating away in a volcanic gold mine in Papua New Guinea. :( I admire his dedication.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year!
